Yak: exceptionally soft, naturally warm

Some qualities you notice the moment you put them on. Our blend of soft lambswool and yak is one of them: warm, comfortable and beautifully soft against the skin.
Yak is a special natural fibre sourced from the animal’s fine undercoat. Yaks naturally live in cold mountain regions, where their coats provide exceptional insulation. The result is a fibre that retains warmth while still feeling light and comfortable to wear.
Why we love it
Yak is known for its soft feel and natural warmth. Blended with lambswool, it creates a rich, beautifully soft knit that keeps you warm without ever feeling heavy.
Exactly the kind of piece you’ll reach for again and again on colder days.
Warm, soft & made to live in.

How to care for your knit
Natural wool fibres don’t need much. Wash less, air more is often the best way to care for your knit.
When washing is necessary, always follow the care label and handle your knit gently. Store it folded rather than hanging to help it keep its shape.
Over time, small pills may appear in areas exposed to friction. This is a natural characteristic of soft wool fibres and is not a sign of poor quality. Gently remove them with a wool comb or fabric shaver.
Josephine’s care tip
Give your knit a little love.
Air it out, wear it with care and store it well. A little attention goes a long way in keeping your favourite knit soft and beautiful — season after season.
