These General Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all purchases made through the Josephine & Co webshop at www.josephineco.com (“Website”).

In these Terms, “Josephine & Co”, “we”, “us” or “our” refers to Blue Denim Lodge B.V., registered in the Netherlands and operating under the name Josephine & Co. “You” or “customer” refers to any visitor or consumer using the Website or placing an order through the Website.

By placing an order through our Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility to Purchase

To place an order through the Website, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian;
  • Be a consumer purchasing products for personal use;
  • Provide accurate and complete information during checkout.

Products purchased through the Website may not be resold or used for commercial purposes.

Josephine & Co reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders when incorrect information is provided or misuse is suspected.


3. Products

We strive to display all products and colors on the Website as accurately as possible. However, slight differences in color, texture, or appearance may occur due to screen settings and technical limitations.

All products remain the property of Josephine & Co until full payment has been received.

Please carefully follow all washing and care instructions provided with the products. Josephine & Co is not liable for damage resulting from improper use or handling.

All products displayed on the Website are subject to availability.


4. Orders

All orders are subject to availability and acceptance.

Products placed in your shopping cart are not reserved and may still become unavailable before checkout is completed.

Once your order has been placed and payment has been completed, changes to the order may no longer be possible. Please carefully review your order details before finalizing your purchase.

Josephine & Co reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders at its sole discretion.


5. Pricing

All prices displayed on the Website are shown in euros and include VAT unless stated otherwise.

Shipping costs, import duties, taxes, and customs fees may apply depending on your location and are the responsibility of the customer.

Josephine & Co reserves the right to modify prices at any time and to correct obvious pricing errors.

The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time the order is placed.


6. Acceptance of Orders

After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your order. This confirmation does not yet constitute acceptance of the order.

The agreement between you and Josephine & Co is only concluded once the order has been shipped and you have received a shipping confirmation email.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders in cases including, but not limited to:

  • Unavailability of products
  • Payment authorization issues
  • Incorrect pricing
  • Suspected fraud
  • Violation of these Terms

If payment has already been received for a canceled order, the amount will be refunded.


7. Payments

We accept various payment methods as displayed on the Website, including major credit cards, PayPal, iDEAL, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and other locally available payment options.

All payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers using encrypted connections.

Josephine & Co does not store complete payment or credit card information on its own servers.

Promotion codes:

  • Cannot be exchanged for cash;
  • Cannot be combined unless explicitly stated otherwise;
  • May be subject to expiration dates and additional conditions.

8. Right of Withdrawal & Returns

Consumers have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days after receiving the order, without providing a reason.

Returns must comply with our Return Policy available on the Website.

Returned items must:

  • Be unworn and unused;
  • Be returned in original condition;
  • Include all original labels and tags;
  • Be returned in the original packaging where possible.

Josephine & Co reserves the right to refuse returns that do not comply with these conditions.

Refunds will be processed after receipt and inspection of the returned products.

9. Shipping & Delivery

Josephine & Co offers worldwide shipping through selected logistics partners, including DHL.

Orders are processed and shipped within the timeframes indicated on the Website. All shipping and delivery times displayed on the Website are estimates only and are provided for informational purposes. Delivery times are not guaranteed and shall not be considered binding deadlines unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking link by email allowing you to monitor the progress of your shipment.

While Josephine & Co will make every reasonable effort to process and deliver orders promptly, we rely on third-party logistics providers and other external parties. Delivery times may vary depending on destination, customs procedures, carrier capacity, weather conditions, public holidays, and other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Josephine & Co shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, or failures in delivery caused by shipping carriers, including DHL, customs authorities, government actions, strikes, technical failures, extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, pandemics, transportation disruptions, or any other force majeure event.

In the event of a delivery delay, Josephine & Co will make reasonable efforts to keep customers informed and, where possible, assist in tracking and resolving shipment-related issues.

Nothing in this section shall limit or exclude any mandatory consumer rights granted under applicable law, including the right to receive goods within a reasonable period where required by law.


10. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective product, please contact us as soon as possible via:

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs of the product

Josephine & Co will assess the issue and determine an appropriate solution, which may include a replacement, repair, store credit, or refund.

Normal wear and tear, misuse, improper washing, or accidental damage are not considered manufacturing defects.


11. Use of the Website

You agree not to misuse the Website or attempt to interfere with its operation, security, or functionality.

Josephine & Co reserves the right to restrict or terminate access to the Website in case of misuse or violation of these Terms.

We do not guarantee that the Website will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

In addition, Josephine & Co shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under these Terms where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to delays caused by shipping carriers, including DHL, customs inspections, strikes, lockouts, natural disasters, pandemics, war, terrorism, government restrictions, transportation disruptions, power outages, or failures of telecommunications or information systems.


16. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain fully effective.

Failure by Josephine & Co to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of rights.


17. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed exclusively by Dutch law.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.


18. Amendments

Josephine & Co reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time.

The most recent version will always be published on the Website.
